What are the acceptable methods of payment?

When do I need to pay for the program I am scheduled to attend?
You need to submit a $25 non-refundable deposit.
What happens if I am unable to attend a program I have a reservation in?
If you find that your plans change and you are unable to attend just send us a quick email or call us at (314-685-9581) as soon as possible and at least 48 hours prior to class. We want to see you at one of our future programs therefore your deposit will hold your spot in a future class up to 3 months from the time you sign up.
Do I have to take a written examination?
No written examinations are required for most of our training programs. The one exception is a multiple choice, true/false test that has to be taken for the NRA Basic Pistol program.
What are the live fire requirements for a Missouri concealed carry permit?
Twenty rounds are fired at a silhouette target at a distance of seven yards. You may qualify on a revolver or semi-automatic handgun. You must hit the target 15 out of 20 to pass.
What are the live fire requirements for an Illinois license?
Students are required to pass a range certification which involves firing thirty rounds at a silhouette target from distances of five, seven and ten yards. Seventy percent of those rounds must strike the target.
Do I have to qualify with the firearm I plan to carry?
You do not but if you have already purchased the gun you plan to carry then it is recommended that you bring that firearm to class.
What do I need to bring to the class?
Photo identification and payment for the class. Ammunition and firearms are provided for an additional fee (please speak to your instructor for pricing). If you to prefer to bring your own firearm and ammunition you are certainly welcome to do so. Please remember to bring your own eye and ear protection this is mandatory on the range.
Students seeking their Illinois license and who want to claim credit from prior training need to bring evidence of the successful completion of that training or experience to the class.

These out-of-state permits offer Illinois residence the ability to carry a concealed firearm in far more states than will be allowed with the just the Illinois license.
The state of Missouri recognizes the concealed carry permits issued by all other states. As a result, the Arizona and Florida permit is often a preferred approach for Missouri residents because of its simplified application process and lower cost.

After completing the 8 hour CCW course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
- You will take your certificate to the Sheriff of the county in which you live. You may need proof of residence, usually a driver's license, voter ID card, etc.
- You will provide the Sheriff with certificate, give fingerprints, and pay up to $100 in processing fees, which vary from county to county.
- The sheriff will send your fingerprints, within 3 working days, to the FBI and highway patrol. If your background check is clear, you will be issued another certificate by the Sheriff within 45 days. You need to bring:
- Proof that you are a US citizen or a permanent resident (birth certificate or passport) - must be original
- Social Security card - must be original
- Proof of street address, no PO Box (voter ID, government checks, bank statements, utilities, etc)
- You will be issued a permit by the sheriff. The DOR does not handle CCW permits as of August 28th, 2013.
